School transport

Our school transport service is available for learners at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Although we try to keep transport costs stable, this may be subject to change without notice due to the cost of fuel. Our school transport is only available in the mornings.

The bus route operates in one-way or return, in the following areas:

• Pinetown
• Kloof
• Hillcrest
• Waterfall

Modern classrooms

As a Curro School, we created a safe, modern environment where children can grow accustomed to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. Therefore, classrooms and laboratories for specialised subjects are equipped with the latest technology and tools that provide them with 21st-century skills. Classrooms for enhanced curriculum subjects, such as Technology and Natural Sciences, are equipped with tools that allow learners to interact with the learned material through experiments or projects.

Our modern classroom facilities (depending on the campus) include the following:

• interactive whiteboard and computer in each classroom
• robotics and IT labs
• lockers outside registration classes

Excellent activity facilities

Our sports activities are hosted in world-class facilities, such as tennis courts so supreme that we host the annual Curro Centre Court tournament. Also, we were chosen to host the national Curro AquaElite Gala due to our world-class heated Olympic pool with electronic scoring.

Our high-end activity facilities (depending on the campus) include:

• AstroTurf hockey field
• Cricket, netball and tennis courts/fields
• Aquatics centre with a heated pool (with an Olympic swimming pool)
• Fields for several other sports
• Gym facilities

Curro Hillcrest has a high school in Hillcrest, Durban. We provide the excellent Curro education to learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12. With controlled class sizes, an enhanced CAPS curriculum, and dedicated teachers who pay attention to learners individually, we aim to make high-quality education accessible to our community. We also have a school transport service for learners residing in the area.
