Aftercare
We have an aftercare service to care for your child until late in the afternoon. Children are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include a delicious lunch and afternoon snacks, as well as safe supervision and limited homework support. Note that this service carries an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter.

Teachers have assistants
Our classes are divided by age and each teacher has one or more assistants, depending on the age group and the number of children in the class. This ensures that each child gets the care and attention they need, and that they can optimally benefit from our preschool programme.

Wonderful outdoor play areas
Children need to run and play during the day to ensure good emotional and physical health. This is a great part of early childhood development. Our outdoor play areas include jungle gyms, playhouses, and shaded areas for creative and sensory play.

Strict pickup protocols
When enrolling with us, you indicate which individuals have permission to pick up your child from school. Should you ever need another person to pick up your child, you can fill out a consent form available on our website, providing this person’s details. Please send this to reception and notify your child’s teacher.

Teachers have first-aid training
Children wholeheartedly run, play, climb, and jump, which may sometimes lead to minor bumps and bruises. This is why designated teachers are trained in first aid. Should your child be on chronic medication, or require life-saving medicines in case of emergency, you can discuss possible care with our team.
Arrange a tour
Windhoek Gymnasium has a preschool in Kleine Kuppe, Windhoek (Namibia). We provide the Cambridge Early Years curriculum to children from 3 years old to Year 1 (6 years old). Our classes are divided by age, and we carefully control the number of children per class to ensure that they are all cared for and entertained.
